🩸 On average, someone that menstruates spends around £159 a year on period products. (£13.25 per month). That is not including painkillers and other costs to try and make things a little more comfortable. 

🩸 1 in 10 school girls in the UK alone, miss out on school due to not having appropriate hygiene products during menstruation. 

🩸 46% of people that menstruate in the UK said that they struggle to afford menstrual hygiene products each month.

🩸 Each person that menstruates is expected to contribute to 11,000 - 15,000 single use, sanitary products in their lifetime. 

🩸 85% of this waste ends up in landfill, in our oceans or on our shores 

🩸 Tampons and sanitary towels are 90% plastic, taking between 500 to 1,000 years to breakdown, completely choking our eco-systems, releasing microplastics and harmful chemicals and killing our wildlife.

Care Instructions

- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after use

- Clean your menstrual flow with soap and water and rinse well

- You can purchase our steam steriliser to sterilise your menstrual cup in a few minutes.

Otherwise, you might like to sterilise in boiling water, but this does involve you using your kitchen pots and pans.

Another option for cold water sterilisation is to soak your intheflow menstrual cup in something like milton sterilising fluid.
